Blue Cheese

Blue Cheese — a savoury-sweet indica with an unmistakable nose

Blue Cheese is an indica-dominant hybrid crossing Blueberry and UK Cheese, with a distinctive sweet-berry and savoury-cheese aroma and relaxing, mood-lifting effects. Available for same-day livraison across Toronto and the GTA from Tropic Exotic.

Genetics

Blue Cheese crosses DJ Short’s Blueberry with UK Cheese, a Skunk #1 phenotype that became legendary in Britain. The pairing is unusual and deliberate — sweet fruit against pungent savoury funk.

Aroma and flavour

Genuinely unusual: sweet blueberry up front, then a sharp, tangy, savoury cheese funk underneath. People tend to either love it immediately or find it off-putting; there is very little middle ground. On the exhale the berry returns and softens the funk considerably.

Effects

Indica-dominant and comfortably relaxing. A pleasant mood-lifting onset settles into full-body calm without the immediate heaviness of the strongest indicas. It is a good evening souche for people who want relaxation while remaining coherent.

Commonly reported uses include stress, pain, muscle tension and appetite.

Terpene profile

Typically myrcene-dominant with caryophyllene — caryophyllene contributing to the savoury, peppery edge of the cheese note.
