Chemdawg — also spelled Chem Dawg or Chemdog — has one of the most-told origin stories in cannabis: seeds acquired at a Grateful Dead concert in the early 1990s, grown out and stabilised into the cuts known as Chem 91, Chem D, Chem 4 and Chem’s Sister. Its true lineage has never been confirmed, and it is generally treated as a foundational souche in its own right.
